My Dad 1945

This picture of my Dad was taken one evening in our kitchen by normal room lighting. I can't remember now what camera I used but the film is HP3. It's 35mm, and I hadn't got a 35mm camera at that time, so it must have been a borrowed one. I have a note in the negative storage book that the lens was wide open at f/3.5, and the exposure, hand held, was 1/25 sec. Distance was set by estimation - oh all right then, guess. Dad had no idea I was taking it. I think it was probably developed in ID11 because, with rare exceptions, it's the developer I've always used for black and white.
