Modelmaker
I originally took this picture of a modelmaker in the Maritime Museum at Bucklers Hard in Hampshire on FP4 with my Kiev 4A camera, working by available light with the f.2 Jupiter lens close to wide open. I waited ages for the chap to move towards the stern of the ship so that his face was between two masts, and was quite pleased with the shot. But the background was so muddled with the windows looking on to a jumbled storeroom that I decided to change it in Photoshop and, while I was about it, add hand colouring.
