I took this picture of two lads on a jetty on the River Hamble with a mid 1930s Robot II, a clockwork motorised camera that took 24x24mm pictures, just slightly larger then half frame, on 35mm film. This was its first outing after I had restored it. The lens was a Schneider Xenar, a four element lens of similar construction to a Tessar. The film was FP4.
