I took this with my 1930 Ranca at the 1951 Festival of Britain just after Valerie had said 'Yes' when I proposed to her. I was so elated that either I didn't hold the camera quite steady or I misjudged the distance, but I treasure the picture because of the occasion. Film was probably Panatomic X rated at 64 ASA. I don't remember the stop and shutter speed.
